Tower Bridge Exhibition

Tower Bridge Exhibition

Discover the stories behind the engineering, the people, the architecture and the city that built Tower Bridge.

Tower Bridge will transport you to Victorian London, telling the story of the city’s defining landmark from the very beginning. Uncover the history of the world’s most famous bridge, immerse yourself in the architecture and engineering, then watch city life unfold in dramatic panorama from its high-level Walkways and Glass Floors. From the North tower, explore the fascinating history of Tower Bridge: its design construction and maintenance; its place in history and in the heart of the nation. Moving through to the high-level Walkways, visitors will be able to experience the amazing Glass Floor – a unique viewpoint of London life. Rather not look down? Visitors can admire stunning panoramic views from the Walkways, spying popular London landmarks such as St Paul's Cathedral and The Monument to the west and St Katharine Docks leading to Canary Wharf to the east. Marvel at the 40 bridges featured in our 'Great Bridges of the World' refreshed display, each of which represents a breathtaking feat of engineering.
