Stansted Park, House & Grounds

Stansted Park, House & Grounds

Stansted is a Grade II* Listed Edwardian country house set on a 1,800-acre estate within the South Downs National Park. The house began as a hunting lodge in the 11th century, but was developed over many hundreds of years.

Stansted Park stands in 1800 acres of extraordinary landscaped parkland and ancient forest within the South Downs National Park. The State Rooms are furnished as though the 10th Earl was still at home. The extensive Servants’ Quarters below stairs are filled with historic artefacts. The Grounds and Walled Gardens are open all year; this includes the Arboretum, The Pavilion Tearoom, The Stansted Park Garden Centre, The Stansted Park Farm Shop, The Maze & The Stansted Park Light Railway (Charges apply)
