We head west to Englands smallest city, Wells. It has had city status since medieval times owing to the presence of its delightful Cathedral and Bishops Palace. It takes its name from the three wells located here where the water continuously flows along the sides of the city streets. In the afternoon we take the short drive along to Cheddar most renowned for its cheese but also its spectacular gorge, show caves and gift shops. We travel homeward through the beautiful and scenic Mendip Hills. (Admission not included).
